James Embree - MAcc Graduate

My friend James needed a few photos taken because of his great accomplishment for graduating from BYU with a Master's of Accounting. We took these shots outside the RB and inside the Tanner building. We went around 6p.m. to get the best lighting we could. Thanks to James for giving me some practice!

Camera & flash used: Canon Rebel T1i; Canon Speedlite flash 580EX

New lighting equipment

I needed some practice with my lighting equipment and my parents just put in this new wall in their house so I decided to take advantage of it. I only used one light in this instead of using two on each side. It gave the photos more of a shadow which is what I was going for. I finally got the lighting to work how I want it to.

And thanks to my wonderful little models who were excited to pose for me. Chase is 5 months, Mason is 2, and Lily is 5.

Newborn Baby Chase

Here are some of the photos I took of the newest addition to my extended family in his first early hours of life at the hospital. I used an external flash that created the white lighting effect I was going for. He looks like a little angel. There are more photos of him, as well as his two siblings to come in the next few weeks.
